In the real world, location is exploited. Important spaces include
ð the co-location of similar documents
ð the location of documents in an office
ð the location of documents in relation to users area of work
Much of this contextual information is lost in existing database systems.
We would argue that these contextual cues are central to supporting cooperation and that they need to be mirrored in a shared electronic repository.
